How pricing works

How a stucco estimate works

We don't post prices. Every wall is different, so the number comes in writing after we have seen yours.

  • What decides the price

Stucco jobs are priced by the wall, not by the gallon.

    • Wall area, height and the number of stories

    • How many cracks and patches

    • The coating: elastomeric or regular paint

    • Colors, and any block or perimeter walls

    • How hard the wall is to reach

  • What the estimate includes, and what it doesn't

It lists each wall on its own line.

    • Included: wash, masking, listed repairs, primer, coats, cleanup

    • Not included: repairs found after washing, extra colors

    • Anything not on the page is priced before we do it

  • What happens at the visit

Adolfo or Benicio walks every side of the house with you.

    • We tap the wall and mark each crack

    • We ask about your HOA and the color you want

    • We write down what we saw while we are there

  • When you get the number

In writing, after the visit, before any work is booked.

    • A written estimate, wall by wall

    • A day range for the job

    • You can read it with your HOA board or a neighbor

  • How and when you pay

The payment schedule is on the estimate.

    • What is due before we order materials

    • What is due when the job is finished

    • How you pay

  • If the job changes

A change is priced and agreed in writing first.

    • We show you what we found

    • You approve the price before we do it

    • No surprise lines on the last bill

Questions about estimates

What is on the written estimate?

Each wall and its area, repairs counted by number, what we wash and prime, the coating and sheen, how many coats, how many colors, start times, the payment schedule and the warranty terms. If a line is missing, ask for it.

What does the estimate not include?

Repairs we find only after washing, such as hollow stucco or damage behind a downspout, and extra colors. We show you each one and price it in writing before we do it.

How do deposits and payments work?

The payment schedule is on the written estimate, including what is due before we order materials. You read it before you sign.

What does the warranty cover?

Terms, limits and exclusions are in your written warranty. Ask to read it before you sign.
